Solidarity Sunday: Ice Cream Social RSVP

Sunday, September 20 · 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM · Location Glen Park, 3999 Glen Drive

OneCity's Education Caucus is excited to welcome you to an ice cream social and BBQ, with activities for kids and grown-ups. We’re celebrating the start of a new school year and season, back to work and school routines and taking a moment to honour our dear friend, champion of students, workers and family, School Board Trustee Jennifer Reddy, as she enters a new chapter of life.

We will miss Jennifer in her trustee role. She’ll be passing the torch to a group of passionate and highly capable OneCity candidates running for school board: Krista Sigurdson, Sherry Breshears, Christopher Lee, Rory Brown, and Steve Cardwell. We're excited to get behind these candidates as we approach the election on October 17.

OneCity's Labour Caucus is standing in solidarity with this event. Meet and mingle with the workers who open the libraries, care for our neighbours, build our homes, teach our kids, and keep this city moving.  We all deserve a city that has their back.

Come expecting ice cream, a BBQ, face painting, a craft table, entertainment, and to hear a few words about protecting and transforming Vancouver’s public education system, for kids, for workers, for families, for Vancouver, a place where we all belong.

Let us know you will be join by RSVPing below.  TICKETS ARE FREE.
